The room with a view project was the first project for the fall 2022 studio (ARCH 2021). The project started with intricate landscape photographs or paintings that then led to artist and contextual research for the given landscape. I used a collage created by Sonja Brass. Then I used laser cutting tools to create a shadow box recreation of the painting showing the depth. For the architectural project we were tasked with creating an artists studio placed on the site we imagine exists in the photograph. I aimed to create a brutalist style bubble cabin in the woods.
