In the spring semester of 2022 (studio 1011) I started attending classes at Tulane University in New Orleans. We started this studio by finding antique tools, I found a vintage 1950s ice cream scoop. I used traditional drafting techniques to draw the tool in detail. Taking it a step further we had out first introduction into Rhino and I used CAD for the first time to draw the ice cream scoop showing automated parts. After moving on from the tools project the course moved onto studying the wide array of artifacts that Tulane archives house.

For the final studio project for this semester we were tasked with creating a museum on a site in downtown New Orleans that houses Tulane’s extensive archives into one10,000sqft building titled “Tulane Depot”. This museum had a simple program that was mainly gallery space. This was my first time designing a specific program on a given site
