About Me!

Hi my name is Caroline Cameron! I am currently a fourth year undergrad at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA, studying architecture in the 5 year B. Arch program. I am in my 8th semester of studio and everyday I find new reasons to love architecture. I am very passionate about architectural design as a way to channel my creative energy into something tangible and practical. I have done a few summer internships/shadowing in the past with various architecture firms such as CRTKL in Dallas and The LJC in Chicago. Another experience that changed the way I think about architecture was my time abroad in Barcelona, Spain. This past semester I was abroad in Rome and I got to explore archeology and preservation in the ancient city. During my time in these firms and abroad I decided architecture was the perfect career field for me and something I am interested in learning everything about. I am proficient in Rhino 7 and learning other tools like Revit, Autocad, grasshopper, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, V-ray, and other CAD/Rendering tools. This upcoming semester I am taking Adam Marcus’ new cutting edge studio, “Ecological Tectonics” which is using Tulane's new clay potter bot. Through grasshopper I will be developing parametric designs that aid in an area of ecological repair. I have just recently declared a minor in Historic Preservation under the school of architecture at Tulane because of my love for historic styles and restoration projects. I am currently searching for an internship in Raleigh this summer 2025!
